Electrostimulation, or e-stim, describes the application of a pulsating electrical current to acupuncture needles as a way to stimulate points. After inserting the needles, I attach an electrode to the needle to provide continuous stimulation. E-stim is particularly useful for paralysis and neuralgia, orthopedic injuries, and induction of labor.
